Originally from Lehighton, Pennsylvania, Katie Kerick has been playing saxophone for 18 years. She started playing saxophone at age 10. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Mansfield University in 2014. Katie is fluent on all 4 different saxophones. While at Mansfield University Katie developed a passion for arranging music. She has had many of her pieces performed with saxophone quartets and saxophone large ensembles. She is currently working on publishing her pieces, and making them available to saxophonists. After graduating from Mansfield University Katie received her Masters degree in Music Performance with a concentration in saxophone from the University of Maryland in College Park. After Graduate School, she and her husband moved to Las Vegas for 3 years. Katie is known widely in the Northeastern part of the US as a performer and arranger. She currently resides in Harrisburg, PA performing, arranging, teaching lessons, and working with various marching bands.
